Or, more likely, were afraid of the answers.
Who are those people on stage at the end of Gotterdammerung? Were they just passing by?
When did Gutrune get an Oscar?
What do Wotan and Brunnhilde do behind the wall after they’ve kissed?
What’s with all those fans?
All this – and much more is in here:
It’s on sale at the ROH shop and I couldn’t resist – when I saw it contained so many photos of Bryn Terfel such a huge amount of information, I just had to buy it.
While the second part of the book, called “The production in pictures”, is, well…the production in pictures, the first half (150 pages or so) has interviews with the director, conductor – the interview with Pappano is particularly interesting – the cast, costume and set designer, about the single operas and all aspects of this “Ring”, from the score to the sets and props, the rehearsal process, the drawings for the costumes – and more great pics.
It’s not cheap, but a very interesting read, unless, of course, you hated the production, but in that case I don’t know why you would contemplate buying the book.

Everything *and* the kitchen sink?
I want that chess set!

Are there more pics/drawings of the sets in there? That would be interesting, too (well, at least for me), any chance you could scan those pages for me, please?
There are more…actually there are MAAAANY more!!!
